The Arc

The comeback isn't the setback.
It's the whole career.

I don't lead with adjectives. Here's what I've actually done.

Eighteen years in Hollywood. I started in casting — commercials, print, music videos — and some of the faces I put on camera are still working today. Then Curtis and I built our own production company and made shows for networks.

One was Capones, a series about the descendants of Al Capone. We sold it to REELZ and kept the ownership. I'm still the executive producer, and it's still streaming worldwide — on platforms that didn't exist when I signed the deal. That taught me the whole game: build things you own.

Then I stepped away for 13 years to raise our four kids. Everyone treated that as the end of the career. It was the beginning of the story.

Now Curtis and I are building We The Studios from the ground up — and I don't run it from a corner office. I produce, direct, and cast every title. We rebuilt the technology three times, we're a registered developer on Apple, Google, Roku, and Amazon Fire, we license our music from Universal, and yes — I do the books and payroll too.

We even turned the build itself into a show. It's called XO, Curtis & Cara — the two of us making this thing, on camera, unfiltered. You can watch it on We The Studios.

I'm not here to tell you it was easy. I did it with four kids in the next room — one of them calls "action." And so can the woman sitting in your audience.

Speaking

Talks that earn the room.

Keynote and fireside talks built for women's conferences, founder events, and wealth-building audiences — on entrepreneurship, the comeback, and building from zero. Dry, honest, and free of the usual keynote gloss.

The Company I Built

Nobody's making TV
for families anymore.
So we did.

We The Studios is the family streaming platform I built with my husband, Curtis. Original shows, real values, and no algorithm raising your kids. On Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, Google TV, and the web.
